There are many meaningful ways to get involved with the IWK Foundation. No matter how you show your support, your involvement will make a difference in the lives of women, children, youth, and families here in the Maritimes.
IWK Telethon for Children
The IWK Telethon for Children has become a tradition of the Maritime community. All year long, large and small businesses, schools, community groups and individuals come up with creative ways to raise funds for the IWK Health Centre.
Donations made through this year’s Telethon will help:
- Purchase priority medical equipment
- Fund ground breaking research
- Support special programs such as bilingual services, child life, and spiritual health
Year after year, Maritimers prove how much they care about the patients at the IWK. With you, anything is possible.

Plan an Event
Each year, hundreds of Maritimers, schools, companies, and groups raise money for the IWK Health Centre Foundation by hosting independent events. These events include everything from bake sales to golf tournaments.
Do you think you’re ready to organize your own fundraising event for the IWK Foundation? All it takes is a little creativity, some careful planning, and the desire to make a difference in the lives of women, children, youth and families here in the Maritimes. To submit your event or program for consideration, please complete the Special Events Proposal Form.
The IWK Foundation can provide you with promotional items to assist you with your fundraising efforts. Telethon posters, stickers, brochures, and more can all be ordered through our Event Tool Kit (bilingual).
