Cory Bell is President and co-owner of Lindsay Construction. After graduating from Dalhousie University and TUNS with degrees in Science and Civil Engineering, he joined Lindsay as a Site Engineer and worked his way up through the ranks. In 2014, Cory was nominated as one of Atlantic Canada’s Top 50 CEOs, and the organization was acknowledged as one of Canada’s Best Managed Companies.
As important as Cory’s professional life is, he has a strong belief in giving back to the community. Over $750,000 was raised for the IWK during the three years he chaired the Great Big Dig. He is a long-time supporter of the Ride to Conquer Cancer and has raised almost $50,000 annually. He also recently launched Trailblazer for Cancer, which is an event aimed at raising funds and awareness for cancer. Other major causes Cory supports include the United Way, We Day, Children’s Wish Foundation, Queen Elizabeth Health Science Centre, and Habitat for Humanity.
As a father of two who has personally experienced the outstanding care provided by the IWK, Cory is committed to supporting the hospital to ensure other families receive the same excellence in care in the future.
