Eric Paul is a member of Acadia First Nation and brings a wealth of leadership and management experience of public sector operations. A retired Senior Naval Officer, Eric has worked in many capacities in both the federal and provincial governments. He brings a working knowledge of indigenous government and community relations. Eric is presently employed with the Nova Scotia provincial government leading performance measurement & accountability capacities.
Eric has spent many years volunteering with community sports programs including soccer, hockey and with the 2013 Canada Games Nova Scotia Fencing Team Coordinating Committee.
When he's not volunteering, Eric enjoys most leisure activities including running, golfing and hockey. Originally from Lantz, NS, he holds a Bachelor of Military Arts and Science from Royal Military College, a Master of Public Administration degree with specialization in public policy and program management from Dalhousie University and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Public Administration from Dalhousie University. Eric’s specialization is in public sector governance, strategy and accountability.
