Kyle MacDonald

Kyle MacDonald is the Co-Founder and Senior Portfolio Manager at Gallant MacDonald, a private investment office serving a select group of ultra-high-net-worth families who have made significant contributions to business, public service, and philanthropy. Previously, Kyle led the Financial Services practice at Veritas Investment Research, an independent equity research firm. In this role, he was awarded the Thomson Reuters StarMine, recognizing him as the best overall stock picker in Banks and Insurance.

Kyle holds the Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA, CA) and the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designations and received an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen's University, where he concurrently played for the Varsity Football team. He was also a member of the 2009 Vanier Cup winning program.

Kyle also co-founded Capitalize for Kids, a charity that has raised over $25M for the highest priority needs in the field of children’s mental health. Capitalize for Kids received the Toronto Board of Trade Business Excellence award in community service for 2015. Kyle has been recognized among Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 and was recognized as a Global Shaper by the World Economic Forum in 2013.
