Saint Mary’s University Career and Experiential Learning (CEL)

Saint Mary’s University Career and Experiential Learning (CEL) team has partnered with the IWK Foundation since the winter of 2025 to create meaningful opportunities for students to give back to their community—and the impact of that partnership is already making a difference.

Within a week of moving from Algeria, North Africa, to Bathurst, New Brunswick, in 2023, Kenza, then two years old, began feeling unwell. She had a low fever, a bloated stomach, discoloured skin, and low energy.

Irving Oil’s Fuel the Care

For the over 20 years, Irving Oil has partnered with the IWK Foundation to offer the Fuel the Care program to families who frequently travel to the IWK for care.

For 42 years, RBC has proudly supported the IWK Foundation, helping ensure women, children, youth and families across the Maritimes have access to specialized care close to home.
