Brier Vincent and her husband, Trevor, of Halifax, NS, were 20 weeks into their pregnancy when they learned their unborn baby girl, Perri, had a duplicated dilated right kidney.

Rebecca was 26 weeks pregnant when her water broke on March 4, 2023, while she was home with her two-year-old daughter Ellie.

When Alycia Bérubé from Bathurst, New Brunswick, was three years old, her mom, Danika, noticed something wrong with her eye. One looked smaller than the other, and her cheek was swollen. She thought that perhaps their cat had scratched her eye.

The Dude Run

The Dude Run is an annual motorcycle ride that began in 2013 in memory of Reggie (The Dude) Dempsey, an avid motorcycle rider who passed away that year. The ride raises funds to help support children in need, including Maritime children who rely on specialized care at the IWK.

Henry Duff

Henry Duff was 14 months old when he was airlifted from his local hospital in Saint John, New Brunswick, to the IWK in June 2022. He was fighting a trifecta of common viruses and was in respiratory failure.
