Egg Farmers of Nova Scotia

As a proud supporter of the IWK for many years, Egg Farmers of Nova Scotia understands the important role the IWK plays in the lives of children, youth, and families across the Maritimes, including those in the farming community.

“Many of our farmers have their own connection to the IWK or know a family who has relied on its care, so it makes our impact feel personal,” says Jeff Clarke, Chair of Egg Farmers of Nova Scotia. “The IWK is there for families from communities all across the Maritimes, and we are proud to be there for the IWK in return.”

To celebrate its 50th anniversary, Egg Farmers of Nova Scotia made a generous $50,000 donation to the IWK Foundation to support a nutrition station in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) — an egg-cellent way to mark the golden milestone.

More recently, Egg Farmers of Nova Scotia continued its commitment by supporting the IWK’s new Emergency Department redevelopment, once again generously funding a nutrition station — a natural fit for the organization.

“As farmers, we understand the importance of nourishment and caring for others,” says Jeff “We hope our support helps create an environment where children and families feel cared for in every sense of the word.”

We’re egg-stremely grateful to Egg Farmers of Nova Scotia for helping the IWK care for Maritime families, and we’re thankful to have them in our nest of supporters.
