Harper Saunders

When Harper Saunders of Woodstock, NB became ill in the spring of 2017 her family turned to the IWK for help. It was there that she received a devastating diagnosis that would see the IWK become her home away from home for the next two years.

Harper had high-risk Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).

“I feel very, very grateful that Harper had access to the amazing care given to her by the IWK,” says Harper’s mom Reba.”

Harper finished her last chemotherapy treatment at the IWK in September of 2019. It was a major milestone in her life that was witnessed by many members of her care team, family and friends that had been with her every step of her journey.

Today, Harper is a happy and healthy six-year-old. Her family will never forget the support and comfort the IWK has given them.
