When 11-year-old Canon was undergoing treatment for kidney cancer at the IWK in 2021, his family set out to find a meaningful way to give back and show their gratitude for the specialized care he received.
Saint Mary’s University Career and Experiential Learning (CEL) team has partnered with the IWK Foundation since the winter of 2025 to create meaningful opportunities for students to give back to their community—and the impact of that partnership is already making a difference.
For 42 years, RBC has proudly supported the IWK Foundation, helping ensure women, children, youth and families across the Maritimes have access to specialized care close to home.
