Be An IWK Warrior

At the IWK Foundation, we believe that the Maritime’s women, children and youth deserve the best—the best possible care, equipment, research and facilities.

The patients and families at the IWK are brave—they are fighters—and it’s our job to help ensure they have access to world-class care when they need it most.

And we know that you believe that too. That’s why we’ve created the IWK Warrior program —so that our donors from across the region can join together side-by-side to fight for the patients at the IWK.

Warriors are courageous, strong and persevere in adversity—like Paizlee Rose, who was born at 23 weeks and weighed only one pound. A true Premie Warrior, Paizlee persevered through a surgery at seven weeks old and a long stay in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Today, Paizlee is a happy two-year-old at home in Summerside, PE.

When you become a Warrior for the IWK, you will receive a webpage and toolkit to help you launch your personal fundraiser for the IWK Health Centre. You may become a Birthday Warrior, a Bake Sale Warrior, a Hockey Tournament Warrior, or any type of Warrior you can imagine. Most importantly, you become a Warrior for patients like Paizlee. What kind of Warrior are YOU for the IWK?
