The Physician Champion Program is designed specifically to fundraise for the IWK Foundation in support of women’s and children’s health and mental health and to grow a community of physician leaders.

Your gift will support excellence in design features within the IWK Emergency Department to ensure a welcoming environment with child-friendly design elements. This includes lighting and noise control, sensory principles incorporated into all examination spaces, and privacy and confidentiality enhancements.
Diversity and Inclusion
Your gift will support diversity and inclusion features in the IWK Emergency Department to ensure children and families see themselves reflected in the new space and feel comfortable and responsive to the care they will receive. This is critical to help the IWK reduce cultural and language barriers to accessing emergency care.
