On September 14, 2016 the IWK Foundation celebrated the outstanding generosity of UPS Canada who presented a donation of $130,470 for the IWK’s redevelopment of its Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
The UPS Foundation believes that when you give back to your community, you are helping to make that community stronger. That is exactly what happened through UPS’ incredible commitment to the IWK.
UPS is proud to support the IWK Health Centre, a place that saves lives and strives to be a world leader in the pursuit of knowledge and modernized care for patients and their families.

UPS employees created a scrapbook containing personal stories about how the IWK has positively impacted their lives. The scrapbook started in Fredericton and made its way through various communities before arriving in Halifax. This collective gesture not only highlighted the importance of the IWK to UPS leadership it also enabled UPS employees to unite and continue their journey of healing - what a powerful creation!
